Donald Trump’s second movie role was a bust.
The future President, who had a brief appearance in “Home Alone 2,” demanded an appearance in the 1992 film “Scent of a Woman,” star Chris O’Donnell said on “Conan” Wednesday night.
The then-real estate mogul traded a role in the flick for use of The Plaza in New York, but the scene of he and then-wife Marla Maples arriving at the hotel after O’Donnell and co-star Al Pacino left was cut from the final version of the movie.
O’Donnell, in his defense, shyly laughed off the snub, but O’Brien suggested that this wasn’t the only occasion that Trump insisted he have a cameo in movies being shot at the Plaza — only to later find out his scene had been cut.
“I just pictured him going to countless movies with a Plaza scene with Popcorn going ‘here it comes'” Conan joked. “And then ‘Where is it?!'”
